Hi there Fernando Sobreira, can you please introduce yourself to the community and let us know more about you?
Hi, I’m Fernando, founder of CryptoChain. My background is in Automation and Control engineering. Besides running CryptoChain, I’m a professor at University of Fortaleza and Owner/CEO at NexTech Engenharia. I have peculiar interest in ambitious projects, and love to prove different what most people would say it’s not feasible. I believe in TRON’s project and I have a lot to contribute to it.
Can you let the audience know more about CryptoChain?
CryptoChain is a community formed by a group of entrepreneurs located in Brazil, enthusiasts of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, with the goal to disseminate the knowledge and technology in the World.
We have two main characters leading the CryptoChain movement. Both are professors at the same university in Brazil, and care with us the spirit of spreading the knowledge so that we can all grow together. In addition to the university career, we also started early with entrepreneurship, in the telecommunications and automation process field.
Since you are in Brazil, can you let us know how are Brazilian’s view towards cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in general?
The Cryptocurrency and Blockchain topics are not widespread in Brazil, but is has been growing exponential in the past few months. However, great work has been developing around the theme in Brazil.
How is TRON’s reputation in Brazil? What do people think of it?
Most people within cryptocurrency circle in Brazil, just like in the rest of the world, have bitcoin as the main character. Perhaps half of them, usually those who understand a little more of technology, are also adept to other blockchains. I’m glad to say Tron is also considered by this group as an option. We are working everyday to take Tron to the TOP, not only in Brazil, but in the world.
Your SR campaign slogan is “Reliability and services in a new era of changes”. Can you let us know how do you ensure reliability in the network?
We started in advance a formation of a test network, which we have been exhaustive conducting tests, in order to obtain the best configuration of server and network topology. This structure will continue after Mainnet launch to ensure the reliability. Our nodes are also placed in different continents, we are using two different cloud service and also bare metal servers.
Our group is constantly reviewing the protocol and code to keep updated to the changes and provide suggestions that could improve its performance.
What else can CryptoChain offer to improve the ecosystem of TRON?
We have been working hard to improve TRON’s ecosystem. Prioritizing development of dAPP to the network users. Main focus in the past month have been to develop a more simplistic day-to-day use wallet for smartphone. And more recently the hardware wallet integration, which will provide a more a safer way of transacting. We have a demo of the wallet and the ledger nano s on our youtube channel. We will not stop here. There is much more to come.
We also have been working on a partnership with a local company to integrate TRX in their payment system, that today only have support for BTC, BCH and ETH. Once the partnership and the integration is complete, liquidity will be added to the market providing usability to whole Tron community
What incentive does the community have? Can you let us know the incentive you offer to the community?
If elected to be part of Tron’s SR, we will be reinvesting part of he rearwards in a creation of a technical team able to disseminate the knowledge and also provide new dAPPs to the network and it’s users, with the common goal of making it grow.
Rewards and give away is also part of CryptoChain campaign on TRON’s Mainnet. Mostly we will be sharing rewards with all our voters depending on their participation stake. Our planing is to distribute 50% of the rewards, after server and operation costs.
Voters also need to take in consideration our plans for the network growth. As we are investing to take TRX to another level, the accessibility and environment that we are creating allows for new applications and dAPPs, hence an appreciation of TRX value.
Do you have any future activities specifically to promote this TRON SR event and let more user know about CryptoChain?
A set of video streams, most technical content, has already been planned in order to allow new developers to start producing for Tron’s Network. The topics includes, but not restricted to, blockchain, Trons Virtual Machine, Smart Contracts, gRPC, android apps, etc.
If elected as TRON SR, we are also planning a set of events to take place in universities and local companies, with the goal of spreading the knowledge and bringing new adepts to TRON’s Network.
In general, why do you think Tronics should support CryptoChain?
During the past couple months, we have been actively supporting the community and developers at Tron’s slack channel. Doing our best to create a healthy grown environment. Our test node, and now the Mainnet, has been Up since then, securing the network stability and possible flaws. Besides the Mainnet node, we will keep the infrastructure for the Testnet, so developer can continue their jobs. This infrastructure will be constantly updated, and once stable, the updates will be carried to the Mainnet node.
We will have a backup infrastructure for the Mainnet to ensure the 24/7 node uptime. This backup infra will also ensure the uptime during the nodes protocol updates.
It’s also value to mention that we early investors of Trons-TRX, and long term holders. We believe in trons proposal of a better and decentralized internet. Not only monetarily, but we know how the technology works and how it could change the whole telecommunication system.
